We are Air Quality Engineering, Inc. a 40+ year manufacturer of a wide variety of air cleaners and air filtration systems for industrial and commercial applications.  Manufactured in Minnesota, we take pride in the quality and reliability of our products and providing our customers with the best product solutions.   To drive continued growth nationally, we seek an experienced Sales Manager to join our team.   We rely on our Sales Manager to guide the strategic direction of our sales and marketing functions along with hiring, training and motivating our inside and outside sales teams.  We believe this position provides an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Sales Manager to nurture and guide exponential growth in the two markets we serve.  If you are interested in a Management role where you can have impact, we hope to hear from you. 

Responsibilities include:

Deliver targeted profit goals

o   Develop, implement and manage strategies for sales activity, marketing & social media

o   Create and implement pricing and customer service strategies

o   Stay current on buying trends, market needs and competitor activity

o  Maintain a pulse on product line market segments and potential business opportunities through building and nurturing relationships with key industry influencers & strategic partners

o   Report sales performance, sales obstacles, market developments and opportunities to management team

o   Recommend new product designs and/or product improvements, and assist with product development and testing

Maximize team effectiveness

o   Motivate and manage sales team, ensuring individual sales targets are met

o   Boost sales skills and effectiveness through regular coaching sessions

o   Recruit, interview, train, and on-board new sales representatives

o   Manage and provide continuous improvement of sales CRM platform

Inspire a spirit of collaboration

Represent and ensure integrity with company values, business ethics, policies and procedures

Qualified candidates will have 5 - 7+ years of proven success in Sales and Sales Management.  We seek candidates with a demonstrated record of achievement and experience in preparing and managing a team to sales strategies and goals.   Requirements include high proficiency with MS Office and experience driving sales and mentoring and managing prospects with a CRM, required.
