HR Specialist – Training + Recruiting

We seek an experienced Human Resources Specialist for a new position to support our expanding employee base. The primary focus of the HR Specialist role is training and recruiting, with additional HR generalist functions. Duties and responsibilities to support the ongoing development of a superior workforce include:
Training & Development
- Design and implement training tools, training manuals, online learning modules and course material, aligning talent management with organizational goals
- Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques
- Collaborate internally to establish, facilitate and document personnel training goals
- Evaluate and measure training results
-Assist managers with performance review training, career track coaching & succession planning
Employee Recruitment and Onboarding
-In collaboration with internal and external resources recruit, screen and interview applicants
-Design, plan and execute employer branding activities & manage review sites
- Develop, implement and conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs
General HR Support
-Assist in HR duties such as processing new employees, enrollment and change paperwork, employee recognition, anniversary program, company event coordination, updating and posting of HR documents and workplace notices, employee email broadcasts, EOE paperwork, corporate volunteer program coordination
- Support maintenance of SharePoint HR page
We seek an enthusiastic and employee-focused candidate with a related degree and 3 – 5+ years of Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience creating, developing and delivering corporate training along with recruitment, compliance and HR generalist duties required. Qualified candidates will have proficiency with online training technology, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and intermediate or advanced skills in MS Office products. Certified Professional in Learning and Development (CPLD), or related certification, desired.
