Materials and Production Manager

We seek an analytical and dynamic Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations leader who thrives on optimizing complex processes and building high-performing teams. This individual will be a hands-on leader capable of both defining strategy and ensuring efficient execution across planning, procurement, and production.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Inventory Optimization: Oversee and enhance production. Optimize inventory turns, manage long lead times, and ensure accurate data within ERP system. Develop and implement capacity planning metrics and lean initiatives for efficiency.

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Leadership: Provide strategic sourcing oversight, leading vendor relationships, and new supplier identification. Guide junior buyers in transactional duties.

Manufacturing Operations & People Management: Manage and oversee the Dispenser Production team, including direct reports and an Assistant Manager. Drive daily production, workflow, and continuous improvement (Lean, KPIs) on the floor. Provide proactive people leadership, fostering accountability and development.

Data & Performance Improvement: Develop and implement productivity metrics and KPIs for manufacturing operations. Utilize data analytics (e.g., reorder points, lead times, inventory turns) to drive operational improvements and inform strategic decisions.

Change Management & Growth: Identify and recommend process improvements to scale operations and support strategic growth. Drive successful change initiatives within supply chain and manufacturing, promoting proactive problem-solving and team development.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience across one or more areas of Manufacturing Operations, including Buying, Planning, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, and/or Production leadership.  The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in leading integrated supply chain and manufacturing operations, with a proven ability to optimize planning, inventory, and strategic procurement. We seek a proactive leader skilled in managing and developing a team of 4-6, driving data-driven continuous improvement initiatives, and implementing process changes to support strategic growth.  A strong technology acumen, including ERP (Acumatica) and Microsoft Office Suite, is required.
